In addition to consulting the course descriptions listed in this section, students should also become thoroughly familiar with the Policies and Regulations governing registration for courses in the Graduate School. The regulations cover such matters as graduate credit, course numbering system, changing or dropping of courses, and requirements regarding incomplete work in a course. Students should also acquaint themselves with the requirements governing the particular degree which they wish to earn.

For description of courses numbered from 100 to 499, go to SPIRE on the university’s website: www.umass.edu. No login is required.

A small group of students and an instructor sit around a table discussing another, standing student's architecture assignment. There's a building model on the table, and the panels behind the presenting student are covered with elevtions and other buiding and site sketches.
