Program Overview
The Foundations of Management Certificate providesgreat value and marketability as an academic credential which is delivered in-person and online and requires the completion of four graduate-level courses or twelve (12) credit hours, as specified below.
The certificate is transitional and credits can be applied to an Isenberg graduate degree based on the requirements of that degree and assuming that the student is admitted into the graduate degree program. For example, most of the credits listed below can be applied to the Masters of Business Administration degree, upon admission into that degree program. Please consult with an advisor for information about the courses that can transfer to the various Isenberg graduate degrees.
This four-course certificate provides marketable skills that are expected in today's business organizations. Picking up these essential skills can help advance your career with your current employer or provide a highlight on your resume when you're in the job market.
Students must complete the six (6) credits of core courses listed below, and six (6) credits of electives from the elective courses listed below.

- SCH-MGMT 641 - Fundamental Principles of Financial Man (3 credits)
- SCH-MGMT 656 – Project Management (3 credits)
- SCH-MGMT 770 – Human Resources (3 credits)
