Master of Science Degree Program
The Master of Science (MS) is a minimum 33-credit program focused heavily on business foundations, experiential-based learning,and leadership development. Required courses include 635 Sport and the Law, 636 Sport Organizational Behavior and Development, 624 Sport Finance and Business, 694B Professional Development in Sport Management, 623 Sport Marketing, and 671 Sport Analytics. The core curriculum is supplanted by a wide array of electives, including courses in diversity, equity and inclusion in sport organizations; market research, economics, corporate sponsorship, labor relations, collegiate athletics, and sales/revenue-generation. M.S. students can also take MBA electives and benefit from the program's place in a nationally recognized business school, the Isenberg School of Management.
