In Focus
The Focus Residential Academic Programs (Focus Connections and Focus Enterprise RAPs) are tailored closely to the needs of students entering the University without a declared major. Focus RAP students share several General Education courses and enroll together in designated sections of the OASIS First-Year Seminar. In addition to familiarizing themselves with UMass policies, opportunities, services and resources, these RAP students work closely with their advisor/instructor to explore possible majors and map out how to be in a position to declare a preferred major (or alternate) in a timely fashion. Focus Enterprise students have identified an interest in business-related majors; Focus Connections students may have a broad range of academic interests. |
