Students must complete five courses (16-17 credits) in Art History, as follows:

Two 100-level surveys:

100 Ancient to Medieval (4 cr)

110 Renaissance to Modern (4 cr)

Three upper-level courses (3 cr each)

or

115 Introduction to the Visual Arts (4 cr)

Four upper-level courses (3 cr each)

Courses must be completed with a grade of at least C to be counted toward the minor.

At least three of the five courses must be taken in the Art History Program at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
