All departments in the college offer programs leading to the Bachelor of Science. The following majors do not offer a Bachelor of Arts degree: Animal Science; Biochemistry and Molecular Biology; Biology; Building and Construction Technology; Earth Systems; Environmental Science; Food Science; Microbiology; Natural Resources Conservation; Plant, Soil, and Insect Sciences; Pre-Veterinary; Science; Sustainable Food & Farming; Sustainable Horticulture; and Turfgrass Science & Management. Students have great freedom in choosing a program of study and a major. However, some of the major programs require sequences of courses that can extend over seven or eight semesters. Students who do not consider this in their course selection during their first year may have to use summer sessions or extra semesters to accommodate these sequences. |
