How to Declare/Change into the Major

For current & admitted students: This major is unrestricted, which means any student may declare the major. Unrestricted majors may still have an entry process such as meeting with an advisor or attending an informational meeting.

Students should meet with the Undergraduate Program Director in order to declare/change into the major, preferably when they are second semester freshmen or at the beginning of their sophomore year.

Transfer Students

Transfers and any students declaring/changing their major after the first semester of their sophomore year may have difficulty completing this major in two years; more time is generally needed.  In these cases transfer students should meet with the Undergraduate Program Director as soon as possible. ALL majors are required to meet with their faculty advisors during the registration period each semester in order to have their advising holds lifted.
