The Minors

The Classics Department offers minors in four areas: Greek Language, Latin Language, Classical Civilization, and Classical Archaeology. Each is designed to acquaint the student with an important and interesting facet of Greek and Roman culture. The Classics Minors are useful and enjoyable, and they give the student a sound foundation in the chosen specialty. They also offer an easy transition from the Classics Minor to the Classics Major, and provide a good complement to many other majors not only in the humanities but also in the sciences.

Students interested in a classics minor should consult with the Chief Undergraduate Advisor.
