The School of Public Health and Health Sciences is fundamentally committed to achieving health equity and improving health outcomes for all—whether that work involves combating a global pandemic or an opioid epidemic, working to prevent chronic disease or food insecurity, advocating for global health or the environment, or striving toward healthy aging or cost-effective healthcare services. Our work is transdisciplinary and successfully prepares individuals for careers in health fields, industry, government, or academics. The School features numerous opportunities for community-based student internships and experience in clinical and outreach programs and partnerships that promote health and quality of life in diverse populations.
