The Program

>The Philosophy, Politics, and Economics (PPE) program offers students a learning experience that integrates the different complementary disciplinary perspectives of Philosophy, Political Science, and Economics on a set of core issues and questions of interest to all three disciplines and which have important social ramifications.

The certificate is open to students majoring in any discipline, but it is primarily aimed at students majoring in Philosophy, Political Science, or Economics.

Program Requirements

The PPE certificate requires completing two (2) core courses and five (5) additional certified courses (core courses not used to satisfy the core courses requirement can be used to satisfy the certified courses requirement). At most two of the certified courses can be in the same department. At most three (3) 100-level courses can be used to satisfy the requirements of the certificate.
