The Program

The undergraduate certificate in data analytics and computational social science helps students build skills that employers, graduate schools, and research institutions are looking for. Students will learn how to apply data science methods to real world problems and gain practical skills in R, data management, statistical modeling, and more.

The DACSS undergraduate certificate consists of 5 classes. Each class must be worth a minimum of 3 credits and be taken for a letter grade. See the certificate website for more information: https://www.umass.edu/public-policy/undergraduate-certificate-data-analytics-and-computational-social-science
