The Minor

The College of Education offers a Minor in Education, designed to provide a foundation for students seeking Elementary or Secondary educator licensure or students who have an interest in education and schools. Completion of a Minor in Education does not lead to Initial Educator Licensure in Massachusetts.

The Minor in Education requires completion of 18 credits with at least three credits in each of the four areas of Foundations of Education, Social Justice in Education, Human Development, and Pedagogy.
