Accelerated Master of Finance

Accelerated Masters of Finance (MF)

UMass Amherst undergraduate students, and other Five College undergraduate students, are eligible to apply for the Masters of Finance (MF) while still enrolled as an undergraduate student. The MF can be completed in a 4+1 format, where students complete their undergraduate degree in 4 years and then complete the MF program in one year. Once accepted into the MF program, students can take up to 4 MF graduate courses (12 credits), while completing their undergraduate degree, and apply these courses towards the MF degree requirements. Up to two courses, 6 credits, can be counted toward both the undergraduate degree and the MF. This allows students to more easily complete the MF requirements in one academic year, while pursuing internship opportunities.  Current Five College students in their junior or senior year may apply to join the accelerated MF program, and should consult the MF admissions requirements.

The MF degree offers tracks in Alternative Investments and Real Estate. Students in both tracks can accelerate the MF degree, taking MF graduate courses while completing their undergraduate degree.
